At UP FTŠ Turistica, we recognize the importance of monitoring and assuring the quality of study programmes, scientific research and development activities, and institutional operations. Therefore, quality is systematically monitored through the regular preparation of the Annual Work Plan, Annual Report, Self-Evaluation Report, and other analyses.

The Faculty continuously reviews and enhances its quality monitoring and assurance system, which is based on the findings of the Self-Evaluation Report and other mechanisms for monitoring activities and processes at the Faculty. During the 2021/2022 academic year, the quality loop was further strengthened by increasing the involvement of the Student Council and the Alumni Club in quality monitoring and assurance processes. Particular attention was devoted to informing stakeholders about the measures adopted and the findings identified through the self-evaluation process. The enhancements and modifications to the quality loop are illustrated in the figure below.

At the same time, students and other stakeholders (graduates, employers, internship mentors, the Board of Trustees, and support staff) are actively and systematically involved in quality monitoring and assurance processes, as well as in the revision of study programmes. Their opinions and suggestions are collected through surveys, focus groups, fieldwork activities, and collaborative projects with industry partners. The findings are directly incorporated into the preparation of action plans and the Faculty’s strategic development directions. Based on identified needs and stakeholder feedback, the Faculty implements concrete improvements, such as strengthening field-based learning, developing a platform that connects students and employers, and introducing a comprehensive survey on practical training. The Faculty also continuously expands its network of mentoring organisations and engages guest experts from professional practice, thereby fostering stronger links between students and the professional environment while enhancing competencies that employers identify as essential.
