An enrollment form will be open to students who meet the conditions for regular progression to the higher year (see the Enrollment Instructions section: below)

TRANSITION AND RECOGNITION OF OBLIGATIONS IN THE RENEWED STUDY PROGRAMME IN TOURISM ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT (MTP25)

Dear students of the Tourism Enterprise Management programme,

Due to the differences in the curriculum between the previous and the renewed study programme, please note that:

• Students with regular progression (without repetition, additional year or extension of status) have the legal right to complete their studies according to the conditions in force at the time of enrolment in the programme (Art.66 ZVIS);
• Students who do not pass the requirements for promotion to a higher year will repeat the year according to the renewed programme (in the academic year 2026/2027, students repeating the second year);
• Students who have interrupted their studies continue with the renewed programme (in the academic year 2026/2027, students who have suspended the first or second year).

Students who will not be regularly promoted to a higher year may be credited with the requirements corresponding to the learning outcomes of the renewed programme. Continuation or completion of studies may be possible under the renewed programme, provided that additional requirements are set to the extent and content necessary to ensure the achievement of the required learning outcomes. These conditions shall be in accordance with the study conditions of the renewed programme.

Individuals whose student status has been terminated after the completion of the final year of studies and who have not withdrawn have the right to continue to sit examinations and other study requirements in the programme in which they were enroled for a period of two years after their last enrolment. After this period, they may continue to fulfil the obligations, but in the event of major changes to the programme, new study obligations will be imposed (Statutes of the University of Primorska - UPB2).

RECOGNITION OF COMMITMENTS ON THE RENEWED PROGRAMME (TEM25)

• Requests for recognition of obligations in the case of repetition or for the determination of conditions for continuation of studies in the case of suspension of the first year will be considered by the 1st Degree Study Affairs Committee of UP FTŠ Turistice in September 2026 on the basis of a comparative table.
• Students will be charged for the processing and issuing of the decision in accordance with the price list of the University of Primorska.

Students who have passed most of their examinations or who are only missing a final thesis or a final course are advised to complete their studies as soon as possible in order to avoid any additional obligations that may be imposed on them by the First Degree Board.

A final-year student will have the option of enrolling as absolvent (in the pre-graduation year) in the following academic year, as long as they have not yet repeated a year or changed their study program. 

Enrolment in the pre-graduation year it is possible only in the first academic year after 3rd year of the undergraduate study programme or only in the frst academic year after 2nd year of the master's study programme.

Students who have the option of enrolling in absolventski stažyear will be notified of the prepared enrollment form via e-mail. They will also receive a receipt for the payment of the registration fee to their e-mail address (also available in SIS in the section My Data / My Financial Position).

IMPORTANT:
Students who DO NOT want to enrol for pre-graduation year do not have to fulfill any requirements (i.e. the student does not complete the enrolment form and does not pay the registration fee for the next academic year). They will be enrolled as a pavzer from the 1st October on by the Student Affairs Office. 

A pavzer is a student who:

- does not fulfill the advancement requirements for enrollment in the higher study year and has already repeated the year;
- does not want to enroll in the next academic year;
- has already used all possible enrollments.

Student who has a pausing status - pavzer:

- does not have a student status,
- participating in study obligations in the first year is free of charge, while for the second or any further year they have to pay according to the pricelist,
- does not fulfill the enrollment paper and does not pay the enrollment fee (or tuition fee).

A student, who wants to be a pavzer in the next academic year, will be enrolled as pavzer from 1st October on by the Student Affairs Office.

Year Plus - exclusively for foreign students who study on programs carried out in Slovenian and have the condition for passing the Slovenian language exam at level A2.

Students that have submited the application for Year Plus with the enrollment paper in the 1st year, and have obtained at the end of the current academic year a total of at least 30 credits (ECTS), of which at least 6 credits (ECTS) from the knowledge Slovene language and 24 ECTS from the obligations of the 1st year, are eligible to the extension of the status in the 1st year on the basis of the application for Year plus.

In order to use the Year plus option, the student has to inform the Student Affairs Office via e-mail. A student will be informed electronically about the open enrollment form and has to follow the enrollment instructions.

All students with student status are obliged to pay the enrollment fee, based on the faculty price list (see below).

A receipt for the enrollment fee is sent to the student's e-mail and is also available in ŠIS (in the section My Data / My Financial Position). The payment certificate for the registration fee is a mandatory attachment to the enrollment form.

IMPORTANT:
In accordance with the General Terms for Enrolment Conditions, a student cannot enroll in the next academic year until all their faculty financial obligations have been settled.

When an enrollment form is open, the student is informed via e-mail. They also receive a receipt for the enrollment fee on their e-mail (available also in ŠIS in the section My Data / My Financial Position).

In case the student does not fill in the enrollment form and submit all the required attachments by the deadline, they will be "enrolled" as a pavzer from the 1st October on by the Student Affairs Office (see section above: Pausing).

When the enrollment is complete the student will be informed via e-mail. The student can print out the certificate of enrollment in ŠIS (section My data / Certificate of enrollment).

• The enrolment form is available in the student's ŠIS, section ENROLMENT / Enrolment Paper.
• The student has to check all the listed data (in case of any errors, the student must enter them in the section NOTES FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE – available after the electronic signature of the enrolment paper).
• In case there are elective courses required in the study programme, the student has to choose between the available ones (see Section below).
• The student submits the enrolment form by clicking the button Submit.
• After submission, the student signs the enrolment form electronically by clicking on the Electronic Signature button.
• A student enters an electronic signature using the computer mouse and confirms the signature by clicking the Enter Signature button.
• After that, the student must electronically sign the General terms and conditions for payment of tuition fees and enrolment fees at UP FTŠ Turistica, to which they access after electronically signing the enrolment form, 
• The student shall submit the required attachments in the section ENROLMENT / Annexes of Enrolment:
  - a scan of the certificate of payment of the enrolment or tuition (if required) fee.
