THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026

The academic year 2025/2026 lasts from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.

Pedagogical process is organized in two semesters:

• Autumn semester: from Wednesday, 1 October 2025 to Friday, 16 January 2026
  
• Spring semester: from Monday, 16 February 2026 to Friday, 29 May 2026

There are three examination periods:

• Winter examination period: from Monday, 19 January 2026 to Friday, 13 February 2026 (4 weeks)
  
• Summer examination period: from Monday, 1 June 2026 to Friday, 3 July 2026 (5 weeks)
  
• Autumn examination period: from Monday, 17 August 2026 to Friday, 11 September 2026 (4 weeks)

There are three examination periods:

• Winter examination period: from Monday, 25 January 2027 to Friday, 19 February 2027 (4 weeks)
  
• Summer examination period: from Monday, 7 June 2027 to Friday, 9 July 2027 (5 weeks)
  
• Autumn examination period: from Monday, 16 August 2027 to Friday, 10 September 2022 (4 weeks)

After the registration, you will be guided further within the application tool to complete the application procedure and upload the necessary documents:

• “Learning Agreement for Studies” signed by student and student`s home university;
• Recommendation Letter from the professor of English LanguageOR other relevant certificate stating that you have the required knowledge of English Language (TOEFL, CAE, etc.);
• Photo for the Student Card (Photo should be in .jpg/pdf./.bmp format in color. Size of photography must exceed 35x45mm with resolution greater than 300 dpi (min. 400x503 pixels). Photo should be clear image without any marks, as for the purpose of the issue of personal document. Furthermore it must apply to standards for biometrical processing).;
• Consent to use personal data and document,
• If you need to apply for VISA, you should also submit form STATEMENT form: student's Statement for issuing the CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE TO AN EXCHANGE PROGRAMME. The form can be found in the FORM TEMPLATES in the application tool.

All these steps have to be completed by the set deadline.

Documents you should have with you on the first day and documents that you will also need for registering of the temporary address with the Administration Unit:

• Copy of personal document (ID or passport),
• European health insurance:
  Please make sure that it is valid through all duration of your stay in Slovenia.

• Accommodation contract or owner’s consent that you can register your temporary address here – example (to be completed and signed by the owner of the place)– you will get it at your arrival from your landlord.
• 1 original photo (dimension 3,5 cm wide and 4,5 cm high).
• Certificate of enrollment (this will be given to you on your arrival at the Orientation days).
• Declaration of sufficient means of subsistence: 507,43 € per month, for the entire duration of your studies in Slovenia. If the means of subsistence are lower than the minimum income, you will need a declaration from your parents, supported by a birth certificate on an international form (if your parents are required to support you during your studies according to the law of the country you come from). Please contact us if you need your parents` declaration. We will send you the form. In this case, you should enclose the birth certificate. We recommend that you make a copy or scan of your scholarship agreement that clearly shows the amount.

If the means of subsistence is lower than the basic minimum income, you can prove your financial means with a statement from your parents, supported by a birth certificate on an international form not older than 3 months (if by the law of the country where you are coming from, your parents have to support you during your studies).
