Admission Requirements: A first-cycle degree in one of the following fields of study: tourism, humanities and social sciences, natural sciences
Duration of the programme: 2 years / 4 semesters
Mode of study: Full-time study
Language of instruction: Slovene
Degree awarded: Master of Heritage Tourism (mag. ded. tur.)
Location: Portorož and Koper (at the faculty)

At Turistica, we have been educating young professionals in the field of tourism and related activities for 30 years.
We are integrated into a wide international network of educational institutions, which provides students with numerous opportunities for knowledge exchange, travel, and research worldwide.
The study programme is designed so that theoretical knowledge gained during the course is closely linked with practical experience.

Choosing this study programme provides graduates with an excellent foundation for independent or dependent work in both the private and public sectors, focusing on the development and marketing of tourism services and destinations, the interpretation and valorisation of heritage for tourism purposes, as well as the management of tourism development towards sustainable forms of tourism.

Graduates can find employment in tourism organisations (both Slovenian and international), nature conservation organisations, as well as in the public and civil sectors. Additionally, graduates are qualified to pursue independent entrepreneurial activities in the field of heritage tourism.
