Manca Šalehar is the Marketing Manager at Wolt Slovenia, which hard-hitting marketing campaigns have ensured that in less than a year the brand has taken the leading position in delivery on the Slovenian market.Manca is specialised in guerrilla marketing and creating unconventional campaigns that achieve maximum results in terms of reach, impact and memorability with minimal financial resources. In addition to her ability to create unique stories, she also has a keen sense of trends. This is reflected in the fact that last year Wolt became the first brand in Slovenia to successfully build its visibility on TikTok. To this day, their content has already recorded more than 5.5 million views. She likes to point out that studying at Turistica has given her a broad view, but it has also given her the understanding that in order to succeed in the modern business world, it is important to keep an eye on the external environment and to adapt. This is also the focus of her final thesis, where she explored the potential of existing facilities in the heart of nature in the Dolenjska region - the so-called Zidanice (Vineyard cottages). Manca has been committed to brand development since her teenage years, when she transformed the local music event ŠVIC into one of Slovenia's largest festivals with 10,000 visitors. During her career, she gained agency experience at Propiar and F2, where she worked with clients such as Volkswagen, Spar Slovenia, Adidas, Petrol and Dana. In her role as a freelance consultant, she has focused on helping and advising start-ups, including Rok's peanut butter and La Popsi - the founders of which are also from Turistica. Before joining Wolt, she was part of the team at Viberate, a Slovenian crypto-company working to change the music industry. Manca promises to launch her own tourism product in the future.

Mateja Hrvatin Kozlovič is an entrepreneur and innovator in tourism who believes in networking and cooperation. She believes that a tourist destination consists of everyone who directly and indirectly influences the guest to take home the most beautiful memories and wants to spread these good experiences. She has a university degree in Sociology (UL FDV) and a Master's degree in Tourism (UP FTŠ Turistica), and also obtained an MBA in International Business at MIB – School of Management in Italy. For many years she has been managing the accommodation Guesthouse Green Istria, which is included in the green scheme of Slovenian tourism and have the international sustainable certification Travelife and the title Green Accommodation. She is also the president of the tourist cooperative Zakladi Istre z. o. o. (Treasures of Istria), which unites 28 local providers of tourist services in the Slovenian Istria.

She worked as a shorex manager for several years: She took care of one third of all guests from passenger ships that docked in Koper, organized trips and coordinated all related activities. She also actively cooperates with the University of Primorska in various application projects and with students, sharing her knowledge as a guest from the field in lectures to students. She has received numerous national and international awards for her tourism products, some of which she developed in cooperation with the University of Primorska. Thus, for the product Istrian Breakfast – a local Bite, she received the Finalist “Sejalec” award, which, according to the Slovenian Tourist Board, contributes significantly to the growth and recognisability of Slovenia as an excellent tourist destination. The “Sejalec” is the highest recognition for creative and innovative achievements in tourism. The Istrian Breakfast product was also awarded for the best example of good innovation practice at the AIRTH 2019 conference - Alliance for Innovators and Researchers in Tourism and Hospitality (AIRTH) in Innsbruck.

She sees the University of Primorska as an exceptional opportunity for the connection of business and academia and the implementation of knowledge in the territory of Slovenian Istria.

Karmen Novarlič, vodja sektorja za komuniciranje s poslovnimi javnostmi pri Slovenski turistični organizaciji – STO, je vzpostavila prve charter polete z Japonske v Slovenijo, po osamosvojitvi Slovenije pripeljala največje število ministrov, pristojnih za turizem ter hkrati tudi najvišjo kitajsko nacionalno turistično administracijo (China National Tourism Administration), in sicer v okviru ministrskega srečanja s področja turizma srednje in vzhodno evropskih držav ter Kitajske. Pravi, da so to poslovni dogodki, ki zanjo predstavljajo največji uspeh. Dodaja, da je bilo zanjo napredovanje v karieri precej velika ovira, ki pa jo je premagala z znanjem, trdim delom in seveda ustreznimi sposobnostmi. Pri turizmu jo osrečuje delo z ljudmi, multikulturnost in dinamično okolje, kar pove že dejstvo, da jo zjutraj motivirajo ravno vsakodnevni, novi promocijski projekti Slovenije v tujini. Kljub temu si vzame tudi čas za sprostitev, ki jo najde v športnih aktivnostih v naravi. Rada raziskuje Slovenijo, izven naših meja pa jo najbolj pritegne Azija. Opisala bi se kot pozitivna oseba, prepričana je namreč, da se rešitev zmeraj najde. Tudi prijatelji bi jo opisali kot pozitivno, vztrajno in zanesljivo, pa vendar malo preveč zaposleno.

Kot nekdanja študentka prve generacije Turistice se spominja pristnih, odprtih in zelo dobrih odnosov s predavatelji. Naslednikom na Turistici svetuje: »nadgrajujete teorijo s prakso in opravljajte čim več različnih študentskih del v turizmu, ki vam bodo v pomoč pri nadaljnji karieri«.
