Faces of Tourism (Obrazi turizma) is a podcast created within the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica, University of Primorska. It reveals the stories and experiences of experts and dedicated professionals from the tourism industry. Guests share behind-the-scenes insights into this dynamic field that connects people, cultures, and places. Each episode offers a unique perspective on the world of tourism through personal narratives and valuable experiences.
Mojca Polak, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor, has been involved in hospitality since childhood. Coming from a hospitality family, she was educated in the field and has now been teaching future hospitality professionals for 25 years. At VSGT Maribor, they are happy to send their students to competitions—first at the national and then at the international level—although Mojca notes that the desire to compete and appear in public is declining.
