WHERE? UP FTŠ TURISTICA
The Department of Cultural Tourism of UP FTS Turistica is organising a one-day symposium Green Dialogues in Tourism. The symposium is aimed at employees, students, graduates and other interested parties and is a follow-up to the Dr. Matej Vranješ Memorial Symposium, with the themes of tourism, space, sustainability, responsibility and natural and cultural heritage. The special guests of this year's symposium are the managers and researchers of the Kozjanski Park, so the main themes are:
- Tourism in protected areas and management challenges
- Sustainable development
- Forest culture, art and tourism
- Green architecture
- Active outdoor tourism
- Interpretation of natural and cultural heritage
- Cultural heritage in castles
- The importance of the UNESCO Man and the
- Biosphere programme for tourism
- New technologies in the Park.
An abstract of 200-300 words should be submitted by March, 4, 2024 to: irena.weber@fts.upr.si or simon.kerma@fts.upr.si. The event is organised as part of the activities of the Green, Digital and Inclusive University of Primorska (GDI UP) project, which aims to equip students with the competences for a green and
digital transition to Society 5.0.
