Miha Bratec is a Senior Lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica, University of Primorska, and a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. With a background as a law graduate (2007, University of Ljubljana), a Master’s degree in Tourism (2009, University of Southern Denmark), and a Master of Science in Management and Organisation (2010, University of Ljubljana), he specialises in tourism law and hotel management. His research focuses primarily on technology acceptance and use, e-business, and sustainable development. Miha has extensive international experience in the tourism industry, gained at Booking.com and Bookassist in Austria, and also works as a consultant in tourism strategic planning and digital transformation. He is an active member of the international academic community, publishing in SSCI-indexed international journals. Since 2023, he has been a visiting lecturer in international programmes at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco and IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems in Austria.
