Eva Podovšovnik

dr. Eva Podovšovnik successfully completed her doctoral degree at the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of Ljubljana) in 2007. Her area of doctoral degree dissertation is sociology and methodology of technological education.

After she has succesfully completed her undergraduate studies she started to work as a professor of computer science at the High school of economics and social sciences in Koper (from September 1998 up to August 2000). In October 1998 she started to work as a teacher assistant at the College for Management. In January 2001 she started to work as a young researcher at the Science and Research Centre in Koper. (up to March 2005). In October 2002 she started to work as a teacher assistant at the Faculty for Human Sciences in Koper (up to September 2005). In May 2005 she started to work at a research company Cati (now Valicon), working as a SPSS analyst (up to September 2008). In October 2008 she obtained the status of a private researchers. Since February 2011 she is working as an assistant professor at the Faculty for Tourism Studies. She teaches Statistical analysis, Social Network analysis and Research Methodology on the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
