Dear first-year students,
welcome to the new 2026/2027 academic year and to the UP Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica!
First-year students of the Tourism Enterprise Management programme, carried out in English language, and Erasmus students should meet us at the Faculty n Portorož in Lecture room 202 (2nd Floor) on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at 10:30.
The programme continues on Friday, 2 October, with a tour of Piran and Portorož, and on Saturday, 10 October, with the ŠtartUP event.

Students enrolled in Slovenian-taught programmes can find their Welcome Days schedule on our Slovenian website: here.
For international students, the Orientation Days programme will take place before the official start of the academic year and complements the Welcome Days programme above. Programme and more information: here.
All Turistica students are warmly invited to StartUP, a social event organized by the University of Primorska to kick off the new academic year.
Join us on Saturday, 10 October 2026, at the Seaside Park Žusterna in Koper. Meet fellow students, connect with university staff and start the new academic year together!
