After a successful presentation at a conference organized by the Chinese Ningbo University, dr. Irena Weber and dr. Simon Kerma were invited to prepare a two-hour lecture for students of Tourism Management. The lecture entitled "Teaching Cultural Tourism: Humanities approach" was based on humanistic approaches to teaching tourism with the presentation of actual student projects within the subjects Art and Tourism and Sociology of Mobile Cultures.
The lecturers presented the students' products, our cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana, i.e. the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship project, cooperation with the local Piran community and especially the Piran Days of Architecture and the DEKD project at the Mesarski most bridge. In addition, they presented the Wave of Change 2025 project, i.e. candidacy for the European Capital of Culture.
