She described herself not as a tourism worker. She prefers to say she's a traveler and a TV presenter. Mojca Mavec, best known from the television show Čez planke (Beyond Borders), is truly a Face of Tourism in every sense of the word. All her reports lean toward the positive, focusing on beautiful things, without catastrophes or the negative impacts of tourism. She says that, in reality, it is the tourists who are a cultural shock to the locals - not the other way around. She doesn’t even count the number of countries she’s visited. Iceland fascinated her, she loves traveling to Africa, but she’d take us on a journey from Vienna to Trieste. Still, people often give her strange looks when they see a woman traveling alone.
The podcast is hosted by student Ana Šenk. The podcast is in Slovenian language.
