Janez Krašnja is the Head of Air Traffic Development at Fraport Slovenia, which operates Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. His role involves expanding the network of connections at Ljubljana Airport. According to him, the airport is developing rapidly and currently ranks second in the region in terms of the number of carriers. He shared a useful tip: always compare several offers, as low-cost carriers can sometimes be even more expensive than traditional airlines. The airport’s philosophy is to position itself as the airport of the Alpe-Adria region. As an interesting fact, Krašnja was the first Slovenian to fly on the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380.
The podcast is hosted by student Ana Šenk. The podcast is in Slovenian language.
