Faces of Tourism (Obrazi turizma) is a podcast created within the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica, University of Primorska. It reveals the stories and experiences of experts and dedicated professionals from the tourism industry. Guests share behind-the-scenes insights into this dynamic field that connects people, cultures, and places. Each episode offers a unique perspective on the world of tourism through personal narratives and valuable experiences.
Jana Tolja Jana Tolja is one of those who contributed greatly to bringing cruise ships to Koper. One of her biggest challenges was putting Slovenia and Koper on the global tourism map. Cruising is not just a vacation for tourists; it is also excellent promotion for the destinations they visit. Statistics show that tourists often return to the destinations they have seen during a cruise. Jana will always advocate for cruise ship arrivals in Koper, but on the condition that these arrivals are well-managed.
