Radio Capris is organising the traditional campaign "Fridge of a Good Heart", which helps families in need (in our region). The cooperation between UP and Radio Capris has been successfully running for many years, this year we have been especially connected at the events for students (Orientation days and StartUP), and the campaign connects the wider community, so we have responded to the invitation to participate in the campaign.Thank you for your kind cooperation.
Last year, 10 tonnes of goods and €47,783 in funds were collected, and this year they are expecting even greater need. The amount of goods collected is not important - every donation is like gold.
The following (non-perishable) goods are collected:
- food products with a longer shelf life (pasta, rice, oil, sugar, breakfast cereals, etc.),
- treats for the festive season (chocolates, panettone, biscuits, jam, chocolate spread),
- personal care and hygiene products (shampoos, shower gels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap) and
- cleaning products.
As they also want to make children happy during the festive season, sweet treats are especially welcome.
We will place the collection boxes in all the Rectorate buildings (Armerija, Pretorska and Brolo Square buliding), suitably marked. You can also make donations at the festive events we will organise for staff and children, adding to festive warmth.
