Free Tourism Management at UNESCO World Heritage Sites Course in full swing

The free online course Tourism Management at UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with Turistica as one of the creators, has been in full swing since 24 May 2021. Last week, the 4th chapter "Marketing" began, co-created by our University of Primorska, the University of Complutense in Madrid, and the University of Salento. The first day of lectures within the chapter was followed by 3230 participants from 149 countries. The 5th chapter "Interpretation, Stories and Memories" continues this week.

Tailored to policy makers, site managers, students and people active in the tourism industry, this new volume is open to anyone curious to learn more about tourism at UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The MOOC is open to everyone wishing to learn more about how tourism works at UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It has, however, a special focus on professional figures such as academics, site managers, state agencies, and other professionals involved in tourism.

It is NOT necessary to have completed the first and second volume of this MOOC in order to register to the current course. The course started on 24 May 2021, but you can still register until 31 December 2021. The course will be available with all the material that applicants can use until the end of 2022.
