The lecture titled

"Innovations and Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism"

will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11:00AM
in the Main Lecture Hall of Turistica, Obala 11a, Portorož.

The event is free of charge and open to students and the general public.

About the lecturer

Prof. Kaye Chon is currently Dean and Chair Professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which has been ranked the world's number one institution in tourism education for the eighth consecutive year on the prestigious ShanghaiRanking. His work has made a significant impact on both the academic and practical development of tourism. He has over 40 years of experience in hospitality, tourism, and academia. Prof. Chon is also the Editor-in-Chief of two renowned academic journals and a recipient of the prestigious UNWTO Ulysses Prize for lifetime achievement in tourism, often referred to as the "Nobel Prize in Tourism."
