From 3 May 2021, the following measures are in place at the University of Primorska to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
All university activities are allowed at the premises of the University of Primorska, under the condition that the guidelines of the University of Primorska for carrying out work on the premises of the university during the current measures against the spread of COVID-19 disease are followed. In doing so:
- it is necessary to maintain a minimum interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters between individuals - a smaller distance is allowed only in specialized lecture halls (laboratories, practice rooms, music classrooms, simulation rooms, computer lecture halls, etc.),
- all students and staff must wear masks. More specific requirements for wearing a mask are published on the university webpage,
- teaching staff and students undergo a weekly COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test and their results have to be negative.
Activities, which cannot be implemented safely at the university premises are still organised on-line.
University members guarantee studies to students of specific study programmes under the same conditions and in line with equal opportunities.
DISTANT WORK AND STUDIES
Staff works at their usual location.
Students and staff with health limitations works and studies distantly.
Work and studies from home is also enabled to all in quarantine or self-isolation.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PERSONS IN A ROOM
The maximum number of people who can be in a room at the same time is limited to:
- 52 people in regular lecture rooms, if a minimum interpersonal distance is guaranteed,
- 22 people in specialized lecture halls, where it is not possible to provide a minimum interpersonal distance.
ORGANISATION OF PUBLIC EVENTS
When organizing public events, extracurricular activities, lifelong learning and other similar activities, all instructions and recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health have to be observed.
Recreation of students and staff is allowed under the condition that the measures defined in governmental decrees for sport and recreation against the spread of COVID-19 disease are observed.
BUISNESS TRIPS AND MOBILITIES
Business trips abroad and outgoing international mobility of students and staff lasting more than a month are allowed without limitations. Shorter business trips and mobilities are allowed, under the condition, that quarantine is not required at the destination, on the way and upon return. If the quarantine is required, mobilities are allowed with prior consent from the rector or the dean or director of a university member. Incoming mobility is permitted, following the regulations defined in the Decision on defining conditions for entry to the Republic of Slovenia in order to prevent the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19 and changes.
The Rectorate prepares general guidelines for working, pedagogical processes and knowledge assessment, while university members prepare individual protocols, taking into account specifics of their premises. All students and staff have to be familiar with the guidelines, before they enter the university premises. All National Institute of Public Health guidelines regarding the COVID-19 disease have to be observed.
Student Residences and University Library prepare their own specific guidelines.
We appeal to all students and staff to take consistent care of hand hygiene and cough and to follow general hygiene measures to prevent the spread of disease,
We appeal to all students and employees to follow the verified and official information, especially the NIJZ and WHO.
We appeal to all students and staff to prevent discrimination and respect for fellow human beings.

(for activities which are not taking place at the premises of UP, there is no indication about masksI).
Regardless of the specific situation, a mask or other form of protection is needed always, when minimum interpersonal distance cannot be observed (1.5 metres indoors or 2 meters outdoors).
