Aleksandra Brezovec is a Professor (Associate) of Communication Studies and Marketing Communications in Tourism at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies – TURISTICA (Slovenia, EU). Her research field connects tourism, communication studies and marketing. Aleksandra has worked on several international research projects in the field of tourism. She was a dean of the faculty (2008-2012), and in 2014, she was a visiting scholar at San Diego State University (USA). She is a member of UNWTO Panel of Tourism Experts, a member of European Communication Research and Education Association, and a member of Chair of Cultural Tourism within UNESCO-UNITWIN Chair of Culture, Tourism, Development (Paris Sorbonne).
